Community Event Calendar

The weather is changing, and it’s that time again! Let’s all get together for another FREE clothing exchange at Cima. Bring any clothing, accessories, bags and shoes that you’d like to get rid of, and be prepared to pick up some new items!

Please do not bring stained or damaged clothing. In the past, we have mostly received women’s clothing, but men can feel free to contribute as well.

Since it is close to Christmas, we will have some festive drinks (TBD), and perhaps even some holiday tunes.

Spread the word, and see you there!!

With the holidays right around the corner, why not get a little fitness in for a good cause?

Artio Fitness is happy to be hosting a ZUMBA class for Charity at Sticky Fingers, the first class went so well we decided to do it again, and most likely through most of December :D.

Cost: By donation, All proceeds will go to the shelter, Classes usually run about 8-10,000 but you are more than welcome to donate more or less depending on what you can give.

About the Cause:
The SeaGil women’s shelter has been selected to be our charity, it is a women’s shelter in Busan offering housing for women and children that need a place to get back on their feet. Many of these families have to leave situations where they can’t take much with them and the shelter helps provide clothing and school supplies, as well job training and contacts so they can transition into an independent life easier. These shelters help anyone, locals, foreigners and Immigrants, they are always in need of donations and so we will ZUMBA it up for a great cause. Join resident photographer Jason Teale as he guides you through the Christmas Lights Festival in Nampo-dong Busan!

We will meet up in front of the Nampo Station Exit #1 at 3 pm.

I know that it is a bit early but with the sunsetting at around 5:10 pm, that will give us time to collect everyone.

After a 6 month hiatus, Temper Temper will reconvene for this special occasion. They will be rocking out the tunes you know and love. Sure to be a great show!

(11:30-12:00) We’ll be playing and taking requests for rump-shaking tunes to carry us into the early hours of the morning!!

Christmas Dinner☆☆☆

From 4-9 chef Tony Rowell will be serving up a luscious Christmas dinner. Dinner will consist of honey ham, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, warm rolls, and mixed vegetables. We’ll also have a vegetarian option which will consist of a mushroom loaf, mashed potatoes with vegetarian gravy, vegetarian stuffing, warm rolls, and mixed vegetables. Each plate will be ₩15,000.

Homemade eggnog Cocktails and white russians will be coming out for ￦4,000 won. 550ml Winter Solstice drafts will be on special for 9,000 won. Anyone with a Santa Hat gets a free Christmas Shot from the bar!

The Night Before Christmas☆☆☆

We’ll be jamming out to Christmas tunes all night and showing our favorite Christmas comedies (Elf, Christmas Vacation, etc.) on the projector screen. At midnight I will be performing Ben Garrett’s annual 12 Days of Teaching.

We are also working on getting the Lost Boys to play us some live Christmas tunes.

It can be a very lonely time of year for some of us who are so far away from our families. We’d love it if you could come celebrate Christmas and have a chill night with us at JJ’s. Happy Holidays!
