This will be a day off for many workers. However, shops and restaurants will still be open.

Some store may be closed but most will be open as this is a major holiday to take kids out and buy them stuff. So for most places it will be business as usual. Parks and movie theatres will be especially busy.

I hope everyone is having a good week. We’re booking our next Cypher at Cima bar for Saturday, May 12th at 5pm. Let’s start a little earlier and enjoy the sunshine..

Come by and share some of what you’ve been working on. Welcome to poets, storytellers, acoustic musicians and really anyone who has something to share.

What makes us work is that we keep very simple rules. To quote Carlos Williams, if you’re going to speak, don’t say anything you’re not willing to go to the mat for.. That’s pretty much it.

5:00-ish, but probably closer to 5:30 though, let’s be honest with ourselves.

If it’s your first time performing, never fear, we have the most welcoming crowd, and that shot will certainly help.

Buk-gu and Dong-gu Big Box store like Home Plus will be closed on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of every month.

Come to Cima on Sunday, May 13th starting at 1pm to drop off clothes you no longer want and take home clothes you do want. There is no fee, just bring what you can and take what you’ll use. This is a great chance to get rid of clothes you can’t bring back home with you or stock up on spring attire as the season changes-all without spending money or creating more waste. Clothes will be exchanged until about 6 pm, after that whatever is left will be taken to be donated.

Alan will be serving mimosas and bloody marys so come and spend the afternoon with your friends, get new clothes, then you can also go to the Artio Fitness yoga class at 4:30, on the patio at Cima. 🙂

This is a national holiday to celebrate Buddha. Temples around the city will be decorated for this celebration. There will also be a parade.

The Ulsan HHH was founded by Jim Ferman & George Ferrier on 10th April 1988. We meet up every second Sunday outside the Seobu Foreigner Compound’s Clubhouse
