Seen a Correct Weather Forecast Lately?

Neither have I. But the Korean Meteorological Agency promises to do better. Whipped like a flag in a typhoon by their less than stellar forecasting, the KMA has started down the path to sunnier days by hiring an American to head their improvement team. Kenneth C. Crawford, most recently of the University of Oklahoma and also having served with the US Weather Service, his plan is to standardize data and sharing operations among the various sites in Korea.

Here’s to hoping he does some good.
