Ulsan man steals 11 000 boxes of soju

A local man was arrested for stealing 11 000 boxes of soju. That’s a lot of booze. Apparently his name was Kim. I think I know him, shorter guy? Drives a Porter truck (erratically)? Black hair? Definitely seen him. 11000 boxes, I’d take that to mean crates, of soju. I imagine the poor guy has back problems. It’s a lot of work to steal that much soju.

I find it hard to believe that in a country that forcibly promotes intoxication amongst employees that a liquour company would get robbed (over years) and none of the hard working, never drinking, bosses wouldn’t notice. The guy who is in-charge of the inventory must be a bit embarrassed…”Uh, no, I didn’t notice anything missing…until Mr. Kim bought a Ferarri painted with “C1 deliveries” painted on the side.

Couldn’t Mr. Kim come up with something more expensive to steal? Like beer? or apples? Soju sells for what, 1000 won at a convenience store? What was the “lower price” that Korea’s Einstien was selling the soju at?
