A Friendly Welcome from JJ’s Bar

To All the New Teachers in Ulsan,

We just wanted to take this opportunity to welcome all of you to Ulsan. After months of planning and fond farewells, you’ve finally arrived to open a new chapter in your life. My name is Patrick. My fiancée June and I own JJ’s, a popular expat-friendly bar in Sung-nam Dong.

Nine years ago I was going through the same range of emotions most of you are probably going through. I think you’ll find the first few weeks here exciting, dizzying, and perhaps even a little frustrating. The reason I wanted to write this letter is to assure you that these feeling aren’t unique and that JJ’s Bar will always be here to welcome you with open arms. Whether you want the comfort of western food, a quiet drink, a chat, or to tie one on. We can’t wait to meet all of you.
