Byul Wine Bar

Byul (Star) Winebar in Samsandong is just the place for you, conveniently located 3/4 of a block away from Hyundai Department store (on the South, or Lotte side of the street). The sauve bar is located on the second floor, and unlike most places in Samsan, this bar just oozes style. It is done in a mix of Indian chique and Korean traditional. Floor sitting, but with an edge. This floor is more like a bed with lots of satin pillows with a table in the middle. There is a bar, and tables as well, but the nooks are the way to go.

The house music is enjoyable and pretty Kpop free. The wine list is extensive, representing Australia, European and N&S American wines. The prices are good, ranging from around 25000 won a bottle up to, well, expensive.

I honestly forgot look if they served food, but I’m sure they have some sort of menu…It’s a wine bar! Who cares about the food. If you are looking for a good dinner, head to Kebapistan, about 5 minutes away
