Endangered Rock Carvings
Posted by Ulsan Online on May 21, 2009 in | Comments Off on Endangered Rock Carvings
One of the famous sites in Ulsan is the Bangudae rock carvings. These carvings are thousands of years old, and are in danger of being erased. The rock spends half of the year submerged because of a local dam. I discovered this the first time I went out there (years ago) and swam across to the carvings. Much to my disgust, they were underwater.
