Was just driving in the Gotbawi area of Bangeojin this morning and noticed an interesting bar near the new foreign compound.
This isn’t the first or even the second time I’ve seen signs like this, but this is certainly the most prominent.
The bars in this area are…um..serviced bars. Where the juice can get quite expensive, if you know what I’m saying. What is interesting is that this isn’t an attempt to keep poor filthy English teachers away, this right next to where the highest paid foreigners live.
The funny part is, that if they hadn’t put up the sign, I wouldn’t be interested what’s inside. If they truly want to keep foreigners away, they should just play ‘Live’ music from tinny speakers at full volume.
