You can’t have your swine flu and eat it too

Ulsan city hall is fighting back against the cancellations of the Onggi festival (220 000 tickets sold) and the World Music Fest, featuring the guy that made the soundtrack for the gay cowboy movie. Both of these festivals are huge draws for domestic tourism, and they help push Ulsan into the Korean consciousness.
Swine flu, having killed 11 Koreans this year, is slightly less dangerous than the crosswalk at Taehwa Rotary. If they are going to cancel anything to try and save the lives of countless Hangookins, they should cancel the drive home for Chusok.
