A touch of class on top of Lotte
Recently, the Lotte Hotel has opened a new bar on their top floor, which offers a classy, relaxed environment overlooking the city.
This is definitely a place to go for a nice drink on a special evening. The waitstaff are dressed in formal clothes, the music is soft (and not K-pop), the lights are dim, and the menu is pricey.
Beer is priced similarly to other venues in the city (5,000 – 10,000 won), and bottles of wine start at around 40,000 won. Bottles of liquor, however, start at 50-60K, and go up, up, up. There’s a bottle of brandy going for 4.5 million won, if you’ve got money to burn.
The side dish menu is similarly priced to a lot of the anjou places in the city, but with the food coming from the Lotte kitchen, you’re probably getting much better value. We didn’t order any food, as we’d already had dinner the night we went.
So, if you’re looking for a place to go for a special evening out, try the top floor of the Lotte Hotel.
