If you’re looking for a place to visit on a sunny weekend, the island of Geoje should be high on your list. A combination of close proximity, easy access, fabulous beaches and incredible vistas make Geojedo a weekend to remember. Located just south of Busan, one can easily get to the island via numerous car or passenger ferries. While it’s possible to visit the island by taking buses, taxis and ferries to get there from Ulsan, having wheels while there is highly recommended. Once you’re out of the larger populated areas, taxis and buses are hard to come by. Rent a car or a scooter to really see the island. The curvaceous mountain roads, sprinkled with plenty of ocean scenery splendor make it an excellent two-wheel adventure.
